OLD TOMB IN PAMIR - PLATE IN THE APPEARANCE OF DEER WITH BENT FEET.

Bronze. Length 4,6, height 3,7. The head of deer is bent upward, the many branches of horns, which have the appearance of young branch of plant, are forced against back. The forefoot bent in the form of arc, is forced the hooves against body. Rear foot is elongated forward and is put under the front. The image of animal is well modeled, but snout is transmitted very schematically. Backside is solid, on which two mutually perpendicular brackets are fastened on crosspiece. Eastern Pamirs.
